In-person psychotherapy in Sydney.

Welcome. I’m glad you’ve found your way here.

You might be here because you’re questioning your drinking, your drug use, your gambling, your eating, or the way you’ve been coping lately. You might not be sure what it means. You just know things aren’t working the way you want them to.

For some people, the consequences have started to mount. Relationships feel strained. Work feels at risk. Life feels harder than it should. For others, it is a quieter exhaustion from trying and failing to keep things under control.

Many of the people I work with are intelligent, capable, and successful in other areas of their lives. So this can be especially confusing and deeply frustrating. It can be hard to understand why this is the one area of life where you can’t solve your problems.

I work calmly and respectfully with adults who want something different, even if they are not yet sure what different may look like. My approach is integrative and grounded in the understanding that these patterns develop for a reason. The behaviour is the problem, not you.

Why work with me

I understand these challenges as survival responses that begin as ways to cope, function, or get through the day, and only later start to cause harm.

I work beneath surface behaviours to understand what has been driving the pattern and what it has been helping you manage. I will never rush you or push you to make decisions prematurely. We go at a pace that feels safe and right for you.

Recovery, as I see it, is not just stopping a behaviour. It is about re-shaping a life once it is no longer organised around consequences, fear, and survival.

If life is no longer going the way you want and you’re tired of trying to figure it out alone, you are welcome to get in touch.

You don’t need to have the answers. One small step today is enough to make a start.

I began seeing Antonia when I sought support for an eating disorder, my first time disclosing this to anybody. Antonia created a safe space, where I was able to unpack immensely difficult experiences and feelings, always sensing sincerity and unconditional regard from her, challenging me just enough and with my best interest always at the forefront. My time working with Antonia has changed my life and I highly recommend her to others.

I was in therapy with Dr Antonia for just over a year, and through her guidance and support, I was able to navigate some of the most complex issues I've experienced in my 50+ years of life. Her genuine interest in seeing me improve and get through to the finish line was exactly what I needed. We also enjoyed some laughs along the way. I have had previous attempts at therapy, but none come close to what I was able to achieve with Dr Antonia. Since completing sessions, I have been able to use the tools she armed me with to manage the highs and lows of life, and it couldn't have come at a better time, especially in my professional life. Thank you, Dr Antonia, for being a wonderful sounding board. I am very grateful for the time spent and highly recommend Dr Antonia to anyone looking for kindness, warmth and understanding.

When I came to see Antonia I’d been to rehab but was still regularly relapsing with drugs. She didn’t judge me and helped me to move forward, stop using and start living my life. I changed my career, sorted out my finances and found a healthy relationship. I also dealt with an eating disorder I’d hidden for years. Working with Antonia was great and I’ve recommended her to my friends.

I came to see Antonia because I couldn’t stop drinking. I only stopped when I was asleep so I knew I had a problem. Within two weeks I’d stopped. I’m still sober now, 2 years later, and in recovery. Although it’s been hard at times, Antonia has supported me all the way. She’s been kind and fun and shown me different ways to understand myself and find the help I need outside of therapy too. It’s changed my life.

There is hope.
Change is possible.
Life can get better.
